Went here for my brother’s birthday, and honestly, the staff made the whole night special. We brought our own cake and asked if they could pull out all the stops; they went above and beyond. The cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had, period. Table service was absolutely excellent, super friendly, and attentive. Food was really delicious, and the whole place had such a lovely, warm, festive vibe. Couldn’t fault a thing. Expect to see me back here again!

One of the best meals we have had in a long time and really well priced for the quality of the food. The prawns and brisket were utterly delicious, and the service from Emma and Izzy was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.
We had a great evening at The Rebellion Roast House in Charlestown, which offers a good, varied menu with something to suit most tastes. One small disappointment was that a mushroom-based dish wasn’t available, which we found a little hard to understand especially as mushrooms featured in other items on the menu. It seemed like something could have been put together, but aside from that, everything else was excellent. The drinks selection was strong, with good beers, wine, and cocktails all well presented and served with a smile. The highlight of the night was definitely the 10-hour aged brisket beef absolutely out of this world. Tender, rich, and full of flavour, it’s a must-try dish that truly lives up to the hype. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and the service was friendly and efficient. Just one tip: you really must book ahead, as this place gets busy and for good reason. All in all, a fantastic experience that we’d happily recommend.
This was our 2nd visit but the first for the kids and we all throughly enjoyed it, the food was amazing and the staff were awesome!! Shame your a 5hr drive away from home else we would be there more often lol ... definitely recommended to anyone even vegetarians (my fiancee had the veggie option and said it was delicious ) ! Held my wedding reception here in Jan 2026 and without a doubt these guys smashed it out of the park. From the planning to the event itself all the team were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they took all the stress out of planning our event. The venue is perfect for any kind of celebration with beautiful furnishings that can be moved around to create the perfect spaces. The food was excellent, the team were fabulous and a special shout out for Fran who was hosting! What a night, everyone of our guests commented upon how perfect it was. Thank you so much. We had a romantic meal in Rebellion Roast House in Charlestown last night. It was the first time we had been there and we really enjoyed it. The portions could have been bigger. And it's really expensive. But the food was very nice. We really liked it's unique rustic charm. They are a dog friendly restaurant which we loved. We will happily look forward to going back again.
Never fails to impress. Had a beautifully cooked brisket of meat, it practically melted in the mouth. Vegetables were perfection as well. The staff were truly amazing, they made the place sparkle with their warmth and attentiveness. It's these little human touches that show they really care about the customer and are paying attention. The food was beyond delicious. Perfectly cooked and served quickly. I cannot thank everyone enough for such a lovely enjoyable evening.
